Is it normal to be bisexual and hate the lgbt community?

I think that all the LGBT community does is reinforce stereotypes people have about gays, lesbians, bisexuals, and transgenders. Pride parades are overly promiscuous and it makes people think that everyone that isn't straight is some kind of sex-freak. It also gives people the expectation that if somebody doesn't tell you their sexual orientation when they meet you, they're in the closet. It doesn't seem to help anybody except for homophobes and the jerk-offs in Hollywood.

You have self-accepting issues perhaps? Projecting on the gays.

The parades are a bit over the top. However, since they were suppressed for so long, maybe this is just their way of exploding out of the closet.

The lgbt community is a clique though really. I think the reason bisexuals are the least liked or mostly ignored is because they are in the middle. It is kind of like religion - Hardcore believers and atheists will argue back and forth but no one cares what the agnostics (those who may believe but are indifferent) have to say.

Also, I think a lot of times when lgbt DO catch hell, it is more about how they act than their sexual preference. The ones who are gay but live a quiet, normal life have few problems. Those who are loud and proud tend to get backlash. Like that damned wedding cake issue a few years ago. You know they probably went in flaunting their gayness. If they had acted like respectable citizens, no one would have made an issue.

In this case it is like racial issues - no one cares if someone is black, white, brown, etc but if someone makes a scene or is overly proud of their race, THEN it becomes a problem.

I totally get you. I have some nice gay friends but the lgbt community seems like an obnoxious clique with rules and cliches.

I can understand that. I’m pro LGBTQ but I’ve never been to one of their parades or anything like that.

Sexual PREFERENCE is your preferred gender to have sex with. So people either PREFER men or women and on an individual basis have a certain grey area in the middle in terms of what they're willing to do if they're given access to the other gender. LBGT has turned into too many elitists trying to be the most gay and people trying to make up their own orientations to be edgy.

      That's debatable.
If we're talking LGBTQ, then sexual preference is your sexuality.
And sexuality can be straight, gay, bisexual, pansexual, specifically attracted to trans, etc.
Sexuality is as big a group as genders are.
Sexual preference would be like, being bisexual but preferring male over female in general.
Or being pansexual but preferring transfemale over transmale.

Gender is literally the social aspect of it.
Like saying pink is a girl color and only girls wear skirts.
By that social definition, even if a person has a penis and a beard - if they wear a pink skirt then they're a female.
That's why gender is kind of a stupid concept.
Because clothes and colors don't have genders.

Now sex is the physical side of things, about whether you have a penis or vagina. There is no debate on that, unless of course in regards to intersex people or hermaphrodites.

But that part about LGBTQ is true.
I'm bisexual or pansexual, I dunno, don't really care.
But I get so much hate because everyone thinks I'm gonna cheat, or that all bisexuals are cheaters.
"I'm worried about getting with him, because I'm a guy too but he still likes girls and what if one day he wants girls again."
First of all, you're always going to want girls and guys if you're bisexual.
But it's the same as being straight, in regards to it not mattering if you're dating someone or not, you still find the opposite gender attractive. There's no off switch.
Secondly, just because that attraction is there doesn't mean that said person will cheat.

But personally that's why I'm poly too, because a guy can only satisfy so much, I like pussy too.
