You're entirely normal. Needy men are a turn-off to most women. This often leads men to pretend they're not interested when they actually are.

The other side-effect is that when I really am disinterested in a woman, she becomes absolutely fascinated by me. If I was willing to play the game, everything would work out, but I hate playing games with people.
