You don't just get a gf/bf and stop finding others attractive? Some people just choose not to pursue that attraction, it's possible to be monogamous and not cheat on your partner.
Not everyone is going to feel comfortable in an open relationship though, if everyone and anyone can have your partner there's that question of what makes your relationship with them special?
