I typed this in out of curiosity because I am this way myself. But I discovered I'm not at all attracted to real addicts, just the ones portrayed by actors...I'm wondering if the person who asked means this as well. I watch "Intervention" and find real addicts are frightening, their behaviors are nightmarish and often extremely annoying, but most of all, their stories are just sad. It's not the time to be turned on but just in shock. I say the media is the cause for unintentionally glamourizing drug addicts on tv dramas or even in humorous ways. But you're not alone haha--I think in fake portrayals I like the emotional expression of the actors.
