All my life I dated white guys and after braking up with the last white one I met this very handsome Spanish guy and since than I don't really find white man attractive...I dont even notice them anymore and I'm afraid that I don't like them. I'm white but I live in a Spanish neighborhood . is this a temporary feeling because of the location? I'm worried cuz my ethnic background doesn't approve nothing but white which I hate it!

    Its a little offensive I must admit your parents are obviously racist if I brought home a mexican, black, asian, Indian my parents wouldn't look at him any different than a white guy the only thing that matters to them is that he's a good guy treats me with respect and that he has a job !     Its called generalizing. You have had some less than satisfying experiences with white men and so now you just figure they are all the same. But maybe you simply date the same types of white guys and thats why you dont like them. It really has nothing to do with skin color when you break it down. If you were raped (God forbid) by a dark skinned person, you might swear off dark skinned people after that too. Dont be prejudice if you can help it

    By ethnic background I assume you mean your family.

    It's normal. It's a part of you likes and dislikes. If your family doesn't approve tell them they are racist and should learn to be more accepting.
