Athletic people are not usually fat. They are muscular and some broad build but not heavy. All the ones I have seen are muscular and fit. They are not overweight and heavy. Being heavy usually creates a number of health issues depending how far along you are. The only people who I know gain weight for sport are sumos. Even under obese is still not the healthiest kind of person. There is also a different between being overweight and shapely.

That makes no sense. Being fat does not equal athletic. Unless you are talking about sumos. So you want to date a female sumo?
