IIN to be attached to someone you dont know but met in your dream?

hmmm I think some people must feel this way at times... when I was about 8-10 I had a dream about a girl id never met in real life before, I didn't even see her face as such, I just remember her hair most of all, but In the dream we had been together a long time and loved each other, but all hell in the area broke loose (very vague I know but my dreams are very detailed and long, its just too much surreal shit to explain haha) and she ended up fleeing, not just the place but me also, like I knew she had to leave or was leaving me and everything, and I just watched her go without turning her head...

after that I woke, and honestly, I sat in my bed for about two hours thinking about her, crying my eyes out, asking myself: "why did I just let her go like that"?

seems insane cuz its just a dream and ive never felt anything like that from a dream since, but I really did genuinely feel this huge attachment and I cried so hard.
