Is it normal to be aroused by insects

Hello everyone. I would first like to start by saying that this is a topic which is really sensitive to me, and although it makes me feel unusual, I have to find out if it's normal.

I frequently find myself becoming aroused over insects and spiders.

I was about 9 when I began having feelings over such things, when I had an erection over a bug that landed on my hand. I thought it was a phase, but as these erotic "episodes" continued, I began to realise that it was more than just a teenage obsession that could be blamed on hormones.
