Unequal representation for women. Men being pressured by society to only show the emotions anger and lust. Actually most of the big stuff for women has been taken care of already well in America. The unequal pay is no longer in effect in most areas. The average is different because men have been expected to be bread winners up till now and are generally more ambitious or I guess chronically competitive bc testosterone.

You are aware that economically both parents have to work this isn't 1950s America anymore. It's only getting worse and if one parent isn't pulling their weight then things won't be good.
That's an archaic way of thinking. 40% of women are breadwinners or the sole family provider, which has nearly quadrupled since 1960 and is on an upward trend (especially since more women are attending university than ever before). This isn't even including women who are making an equivalent amount to their husbands.
I've never even met a man who didn't want their significant other to work, either. I have met boys (not men) who don't want a woman to make as much as them because it hurts their ego, but they're sparse too. Things are just changing. The economy is different. Both parents need to contribute.
I also propose a life-changing idea; both parents can contribute to parenting.
i wasnt saying anything like that at all. i was saying men are breadwinners, most of the time. because if you have a baby, the mom is pregnant, not the dad. the mom can still work, but it is harder. then when the baby is born, the mom has to breastfeed, change diapers, etc, while the man is working to get money.
Ahh. I understand your point now. Still, that's ignoring the presence of technology. Many women buy pumps to pump their breast milk into bottles before going to work. A man surely has the capability of changing diapers and giving those bottles to a baby. In most modern homes, this ends up a tag-teamed effort to raise a child. For many women, the only time they take off work are the upcoming weeks before the pregnancy and the week after so that they can heal. This is because they do work even if they make less, and women don't receive paid leave for child-birthing in the U.S. (which is a problem feminism addresses).
Though you may be right about the 'most of the time' conjecture, I repeat that the statistic does not include women who make just as much as their husbands. Adding in that presumably large amount would likely make that statistic more like 50/50. Even if it's slightly lower, the number of breadwinner women is on the rise and is likely to soon overtake the number of men.

i also think that women putting breastmilk into bottles and the dad feeds the baby with said bottles is a little irresponsible. and if this "wage gap" that you feminists preach was real, why would the dad stay at home and the mom goes to work? after all, he earns 23% more than the mom, right???

The wage gap statistic considers men in the same careers as women. For example, even though women make up 91% of nurses, BLS numbers from 2008 show that female RNs earned a median weekly salary of $1,011, while the median weekly earning for male nurses was $1,168—meaning that women made only 86.6 percent of what men made. Most couples are not in the same exact field. I'm a nursing major heading towards anesthesia, my boyfriend is currently going into accounting. I'll likely make upwards 250,000 a year while he makes a comfortable 70,000. However, his female counterparts make less than him while my male counterparts make more than me. Logical? Logical.
I also think it's funny you took the libtard route. Remember your spiel about mental strength? Seeing the way you handle yourself in this debate makes me second-guess that.
