Of course it is normal to be upset! I would be too! I suggest not giving up. I don't know your exact situation but the doctor told my grandma she would never be able to have children and she had two. Then my the doctor said that my mom couldn't have kids either. She was very upset. But here i am today. She also had my sister so that makes two. And she concieved naturally. f you really can't there are options. If you have eggs you could try invitro or have them extract the egg, have it fertililzed, and have a surrogate mother give birth to your baby. They offer these services at hospitals and clinics but they are very expensive!
