I believe the underlying reason for it was attention (whether the person in question knew it on a conscious level or not). The event that prompted it was the person they had been in a 7 year relationship with moved on an started dating someone else. Like I said I just think that it was a totally selfish thing to do and they never considered what it would do to the people around them: their child, their family, their parents etc.
Well, honestly, you gotta give him some slack man, I mean it was a 7 year long relationship, and then the person that broke up with them in the first place, goes and hooks up with another person, while your friend is the one going through all the shit, I mean yeah, even I would be depressed if that happened to me.
Just light up on your friend for god sakes, they're probably going through major shit right now.
No, no, no.
I apologize i should have clarified more in the original post (i didn't want it to be too rambling). The person that they were in a relationship with: the person in question broke up with them (threw them out quite suddenly and unceremoniously). Also they have not handled this break-up in what i would even remotely call a mature and adult fashion.
Is it normal to be angry at someone who tried to kill themselves?
