I've been bullied for my name as well. I agree it sucks, but in a way it sort of helps you build thick skin. Personally though, I think you have a cool name.
I used to get bullied for my name. This was one of the reasons why I would dread going to summer camp because some people would treat me one way and then when they heard my name, they would either laugh or tell me it was a boys name which meant that it couldn't be my name. Why do some parents raise such ignorant children?!
I actually don't think it's the parents faults. If anything, kids don't have good role models since the bad guys in films are usually the "cool" guys. Good people aren't often shown much nowadays so at an impressionable age it's easy to see why a child would associate bad behavior with being cool. Hopefully as they grow up they learn that bullying sucks.
When I was bullied I wanted to treat other people like the bullies treated me, but my dad would always tell me that bullying other people wasn't right and that I shouldn't treat others like that. I didn't listen to him and as a result whenever anybody tried to be nice to me I just pushed them away and made fun of them, now I regret it.
Is it normal To be angry at my parents for naming me this.
