You are normal to not like it, I think everyone hates paying their bills. The ones that say they like it, aren't saying it because they enjoy the process of paying those bills, they simply enjoy getting rid of the anxiety that comes from having those debts over their head.
Sounds like you're focusing on the exchange of money too much. Try thinking of it as purchasing your "living expenses" instead of "paying the bills". Before modern consumerism existed, you'd have had to grow your own food and make your own heat and provide your own source of light (candles). Today, you just have to work at one very specific job and you can have all of that other stuff for a contribution from your salary. See, money is just a system of cooperation so that everyone doesn't have to do every single thing for themselves.
