    It is not normal to be an excellent chef; Chefs are judged with reference to other chefs so to be excellent you have to be better than the others. There are many who are good enough to be considered a chef, which is a high enough standard for most. there are many more who are no more than kitchen managers, but there are a
    who: A few chefs are considered better than all the rest, just as it is not normal to a tennis champion.
    In this case I mean not normal related to statistics; although considering the work, the tension, and the hostile work environment, I suspect it does not feel normal to be that chef.
