    Yup...not the fact that it's killing hundreds of thousands of people in the Middle East or destabilizing African governments to get at their resources

      But, on a serious note, America is not the only empire that has abused it's power, by far not the only empire. If the British or Roman Empires were still around, they'd be doing the same thing. Conquest and Greed is not exclusive to America, hell, if Kenya had as big of an empire as the US they'd be doing the same damn thing. Give a country enough power and it happens.

        That's not true. Some countries have done it historically and some countries haven't. China didn't, and many kingdoms in India didn't. It has to do with culture and the heroes that are revered in that culture's mythology.

          You're correct, my only point was though that America is not alone in it's fun, cheap and massively produced debauchery.

            Well...hope America doesn't take too much comfort in that thought. Most bullies don't stop until they are beaten up. Hate to see a million Iranians die while the US learns the ropes of being a civil country
