Omg! I do the same thing & here I was thinking I was special ;)BTW Im 18. From what I've heard this is pretty common. In my case I'm afraid of darkness because It gives me the feeling of unknown something could come out of there all of the sudden or maybe not, the thing is I can never know. Anyways this fear is not so bad only bad thing is we have to pay a higher light bill :P
is it normal to be afraid to sleep alone in the dark?
