My brother is 14 years old and still afraid of the dark. He needs someone to go with him if he is going to the basement or upstairs if it is dark and no one is there.

    I used to be scared of the dark when I was younger but I grew out of it luckily.

    I'm still scared of new showers and toilets. Some phobias just dont go away.

    Maybe at 14, yeah. He's still a kid. It's a common fear

    The dark is pretty scary
    Maybe use nightlights? Not just to deal with fear, but so you don’t bust your ass walking around in the pitch black
