I have never used a pad. Just the idea of It freaks me out way more than a tampon. I've been dealing with periods for 9+ years now, and have yet to have a single problem, and I've used just about every brand out there. You will be fine. Just read the directions that cone in the box. Know the possible side effects, but don't let them scare you too bad. Really once you get used to them, you'll probably never buy a pad again.
