Your question seemed to hint, though, that there may be concerns about cleanliness and disease? Hypochondriasis (fear of disease/illness/pathogens) can also be treated with therapy and other approaches.
In any case, it might be worth your while to contact a psychological practitioner to determine if any of these conditions (including what the other commentators suggested) might be the problem. At least then you'd know if that was the problem and then you could decide what to do and how to resolve it.
