This reminds me of Awake. The guy has heart surgery but suffers from anesthetic awareness so he hears everything the doctors are saying and how they and his wife were planning on killing him for the benefits.
Okay movie but it's scarier knowing this could happen (although rare don't worry!) and you being in pain and not being able to stop it b/c you're paralyzed! =..O
