You shouldn't believe in Adam and Eve, Noah's Ark, etc. even if you are christian! Those are myths! Many cultures have similar stories as these, they are not just in the bible. There is truth in these myths, but I don't think they should be taken literally. Trust in what you believe God has done for you. Once such miracles pass, it's easy to pass them off as chance or coincidence or something that was just bound to happen anyway. But when you need them to happen most, you know they are the work of God. If you didn't need it so bad that you prayed for it, it might not have happened at all.
I think you just need to expand your understanding of God. Don't limit him/her to what people tell you or to what's in the bible. Your own experiences tell you the most about the existence of God.
