Yes please don't laugh at me.

I am really really scared of ants.

Is it an irrational fear?

I am scared that they are all gonna form together and carry me off into their little holes in the ground.

Is It Normal?

    There are ants in South America that will rip you apart and eat you alive. It looks like the ground itself moves when they do. I have also seen rats being eaten from the inside out by ants.

    I'm afraid of ants too. I get the "heebee-jeebees" just thinking about them. I don't think they'll drag me to their antholes though, I just hate like them. :(

    i'd say it isn't so far-fetched to be afraid of a huge colony of thousands, tens of thousands even, of ants that could possibly over run your body and eat you alive.
