It's refreshing to get answers from people you normally wouldn't ask in real life. The anonymity generally works in the right way too, whether people are asking about their nether regions, drugs, or familial relations. On the other side of the coin, it's nice to be able to put people's minds at rest (especially when you've been in a similar situation and weren't sure how to deal with it).
