Why do you have to be from the 'hood' to listen to rap? People have the right, freedom, and choice to listen to whatever pleases their ears! Although I hate rap, I don't condemn another for listening to it...despite his/her ethnicity. You need to grow up and respect others choices.
Why should I respect a style of music that defiles us as humans? Sure, there are some artists who rap beyond the stereotypes...but they are few and far in between. What is there to respect about it? Even though I grew up in the 'hood' I was never impressed with the music...then or now! I simply chose to rise above the nonsense...and manifest in a way that proves where I come from; will not keep me in bondage.
im white and im rich as fuck and i love listening to rap since its real, i like flows, and i can relate to it. not all rap songs are about being an african-american that is passing through poverty you know?
Is it normal to be addicted to rap music?
