Is it normal to be absolutely terrified of and disgusted by feet?

I am absolutely, completely, 100%, terrified of feet. They disgust me. I don't want them anywhere near me. I would gladly have my feet amputated. I basically have the opposite of a foot fetish. Some people think feet are gross. I'm like that but, like, amplified x100. They are the absolute worst. Is this normal? I hope I emphasized enough just how much I hate them.

I love feet because without feet I couldn't walk, run, or dance!

Some feet are gross but some are cute. I was in an elevator with this old lady who had honest to god goblin troll feet. Now that was horrifying.

I had to vote not normal for this one, but not for the reason you think. The majority of people do not have “strange” phobias, but some do. I watched a very interesting documentary about the subject of strange phobias. This fear typically comes from past experience. Therapy can usually undo this fear. So yes, it is normal, but the majority of people on earth do not experience this.

I hate being around other people's feet, but my own are fine.

To be honest, they kind of annoy me...I find them gross and they look offensive to me, I do not know why. Just try not to look at yours and remember that they help you do cool stuff like dance and use trampolines!

I think something traumatic, associated with feet happened to you when you were a child. You've likely "forgotten" the memory due it's unpleasantness. It is a common way that phobias are created. I've seen where cognitive exposure therapy (confronting the phobic situation in a safe, controlled manner) can help a person to overcome their fear. So to answer your question, yes, you are normal. Almost everyone has some kind of phobia.

Its not normal to be terrified.i mean ive seen some freaking ugly troll feet but normal feet...no big deal. Hey we all have our weakness though. Better than being a foot fetishist at least!

So these feet are not sexy?
I will admit though, I would not touch, rub, kiss, sniff, nor caress them, nor would I let her walk on me. Why? Because I am not deserving of such foot perfection. Smooth soles, perfect toenails, high arches, I mean those are PER-FECT.

I imagine though what the OP still sees is this set of feet below. Warning - they are horrific as hell.

They're just hands but you are walking with them.
I don't see the issues here. You're BORN with it. Maybe your parents didn't do a good job about this topic?
