Is it normal to be able to just 'know' what is or going to happen?

I have this thing, that I just 'know' what is happening to someone, or what's going to happen next. It's like, if someone is having a really crappy day, I feel it too. Or sometimes, if I'm at a party, I always get this wierd feeling in my gut a few minutes or even seconds before something dramatic happens. Today, I was on the mall escalators, and I got this feeling. Then seconds later, a little boy fell Fell down them! But I don't always register the feeling in time. But sometimes i do. If i do, then i know what will happen NeXT. It only happens within 45 minutes max.

Is It Normal?

  • When are you going to die?

  • I get the same feeling except sometimes i know whats going to happen. For example i knew almost a week ahead of time that my dad was going to die. I knew the day and everything. But other times i have no clue what the feeling means

  • No, you're not psychic, empathic, or anything ridiculous like that. It's not a matter of being in tune with the metaphysical world, it's a matter of just being in tune with the harmony of what is going on around you.

Example: While driving the other day, I knew this red SUV was going to cut me off. Seeing how close they were, they were likely going to clip my front bumper. I slow down, and lo and behold, they cut me off, barely missing me by inches. Was I psychic? No. Thinking back on the situation, I realize that I can remember details I wasn't really paying attention to. 1: there were three kids bouncing around in the back seat, watching a kids show on a drop-down screen. 2: the woman driving was on a cell phone. 3: it was a red SUV, which can inherently be indicative of the kind of person driving it. If nothing happened and the SUV didn't almost clip me, I would have forgotten about the situation completely, and never second-guessed it. I would wager that, when you're on a day-to-day routine, you're making dozens of minor adjustments to your behavior to compensate for the possibilities around you. However, it's only when one of those things occurs that it sticks in your brain and you think, "wow, I knew something like that was coming." This isn't a bad ability, but it's not out of this world. It's simply being more sensitive to your surroundings and not being so oblivious as most people are. It's survival instinct to feel out what's going to happen next.

  • Its not normal but a rare gem of a gift that can be developed if your born with the gift.I experience the exact same thing.I ALWAYS know when something bad or dramatic or negative is going to happen but i cant tell what it is.I just get this queesy or butterfly feeling in my stomach.I get scared and a feeling of impending doom almost depending on how bad it is.Sometimes I just feel uncomfortable and like eww I dont like this.I've been experiencing this long enough to recognize it when it happens. But the only thing that sucks is that I cant tell ya what the hell is gonna happen! I just know its bad!

  • I wouldn't say it's normal but it's not a bad thing either

  • You're probably an empath, it's kind of a psychic thing.
