Is it normal to be a woman and not ever be sexually harrassed

I know it is not good to be sexually harassed but I am starting to feel like every woman claims to be sexually harassed but I have never been sexually harassed (I don't count men staring at me/ checking me out/complimenting me as harassment). I'm rarely catcalled and I think this is due to my body language and/or what I wear. Is this normal?

Even if you're "rarely" catcalled, you have been the target of catcalls, and some people definitely label that sexual harassment.

Same, I have experienced some things that would fit the definition of "sexual harassment", but as I felt there was no danger, there was no need to make a big deal or be offended by it. I hate to doubt people who actually experienced something traumatic but it seems like there's a lot who cry "harassment" just for attention.

    • Yes this is what I mean. If I am catcalled, it is usually positive like a simple 'hey' or 'hey beautiful lady' or some sort of compliment. I have never had any guy say anything of a sexual nature to me. I have never been in any sort of danger so I don't really count my little catcalling experience as sexual harassment.

        Same :)
I've had sexual ones but nothing that offended me.
It just means you are probably cute / innocent

It's because some women's definition of "sexual harassment" includes a man simply talking to them lol

    Some women are just crazy.

Exactly. The media has jumped on this ,"Me Too" bandwagon and most are simply disgruntled actresses try to get their name in the press for publicity. Anyone can claim sexual abuse and it's even easier when it allegedly happened decades ago. Most women are never sexually abused and your one of them. Simple as that.

Of course it's normal, that's a good thing. But like another user pointed out, catcalling can be considered sexual harassment.

how many men have you gotten fired for sexual harassment and did you sue the company you worked for ? if the answer is zero you have never been harassed. everytime it happens in my town it makes the news paper about one time a year so over a lifetime that be about 70 times. now about 25,000 men will work in my town and not harass a women. so you are not lucky you are average. Now some women will claim they were harassed and did nothing about it. Bull fucking shit. women hate working , they would sue their dad if they could.
