  • You mean 4 years ago?

These generalizations aren't as accurate as you're lead to believe by your fellow social media addicts. Intelligent adults do not identify with nationality, political affiliation, race, or sex before their own personal values.

In reality, being a 'trump supporter' has little to do with being a republican - any rational person should be able to see through the bullshit by this point, but it's difficult when you've built your whole identity around supporting him.

    • Definitions change over time. 'Liberal' hardly means now what it did 30 or 40 years ago. To be a Republican is almost synonymous with being a Trump supporter today, as never Trumpers/neo-cons slowly died out and the populist movement took its place.

Intelligence has no role in what one identifies as. There are some absolutely brilliant, 140+ IQ professors out there tossing molotov cocktails over at police as members of Antifa. Intelligence does not mean you're suddenly a fully rational human being.

Humans aren't rational: we use reasoning to justify our feelings. The sooner you understand that, the better you're able to identify sources trying to persuade you.
