You are only feeling insecure about those girl crushes because you've yet to score yourself a boyfriend. Perhaps your expectations for having a boyfriend are unrealistic, I don't know (don't know you). Some young women tend to want that dream version of a relationship that they've had since they were a teenager. The lousy part of that is, it is never a realistic vision of what a real relationship is about. Loosen up and don't take it all so seriously, and most of all don't take yourself so seriously.
