You sound like me. I'm a generalist. I know enough about most things to pass muster. I could take a job in pretty much anything and do it fairly well, but I'd be behind the person who specialised in that area alone. It's a bit of a curse. It's rare to find someone who would employ someone like me. I know something about everything, rather than everything about something.
Is it normal to be a 'jack of all trades' but a master at none?
