Is it normal to be a hypochondriac?
For as long as I can remember, I have been a hypochondriac (I have anxiety about my health). My biggest fear is cancer. Anyone else have this problem? I feel like I am the only one.

I'm a big hypochondriac too. If anything seems out of the ordinary with my body, I tend to get a little worried ^_^;

A few days ago, I had a pimple on my chest and squeezed it, causing a small bruise. I suddenly remembered a similar bruise I had on my chest from pimple, started to worry about "bruising easily", combed the whole internet from clues, and managed to convince myself I had leukemia. (With none of the risk factors or other symptoms) Exept I get pimples on my chest, face, neck, and shoulders all the time, this was only the second bruise, I squeezed it hard enough to nearky take the skin off, and the very next day it was fading like any bruise would.
And stuff like this happends every other day.
If it were normal, it wouldn't be classified as a psychological disorder...
Well, that's why you can set up for regular checkups at your doctor. It's their job, I don't think they'll mind if you come in once a month or so to discuss a few concerns. :3
I don't exactly worry, but I think I read too much into it whenever I have some sort of symptoms. Its kind of not a good thing, because what if one day you actually have something bad & just dismiss it due to being a hypochondriac?! D:
