I'm a gay furry. I'm not attracted to guys unless they're in a furry suit. I want to be a real fox, not just a guy in a suit, for sexual reasons. Last night I was fantisizing about being a gay fox with a boyfriend, which I then propose to. I look at gay furry art everyday. I would do anything to be a fox with a fox boyfriend.
It’s not normal. If anything it’s extremely fringe. And to most disturbing. So obviously most people wouldn’t understand. Everyone has every right to do or express themselves however they want (so long as they’re not hurting anyone) but everyone also has a right to criticize. Remember offense is taken not given. If fury’s want to be accepted by the general population and “sit at the table”. Then they have to really show everyone that it’s not all about some weird sexual fetish. All the commissioned furry pornagraphic images and videos littered in most search results is really giving furries a bad image.
I feel like I'm obligated to tell you how I view this as a fellow furry. I understand your disposition but there's a few things I want to point out here:
-Being gay, while it is becoming more "normal" by the day, is still considered an immoral sexuality by many.
-Wanting to be a real animal is a fairly common side effect of diving into being a furry. However, considering that we are all living in human bodies there is a fine line between wanting to be something for sexual reasons and beastiality. Just be careful, ok?
-paci200 mentioned that what you are looking for is theriantropy, not furry. I don't know much about therians (although i just did some research) but if what you are looking for is 100% fox then this might be something to look into.

What you describe is to do with therianthropy, not furries.
Being gay, furry or endorsing in therianthropy is not normal as the amount of persons like you are, by count, below the statistical norm in relation to the worldwide population. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Norm_(sociology)
For population worldwide of around 8 billion persons, only 0.025% (2 million) or less are furries, 2% are LGBT (average by worldwide sample), and therians are thought to be 0.001% or less. And being a combination is even far less likely, although the internet can give the illusion that is more so than it actually is, though, the majority of people use social networks such as Facebook or in-general information/shop websites.
