politics are a hell fire, man. personally i disapprove of both present day liberals and conservatives-- leftists are far too idealistic and their ideas are incompatible with the world we live in now, which is complex and a mess of corruption, inflation, and the like. conservatism strikes me as a little stupid because i think the only way for things to improve is to keep going forwards, not backwards. lgbt rights, gun control, and the legalisation of abortion are all things we NEED in today's world. a lot of people aren't straight nor cisgender now, a lot of people are getting shot, and a lot of women are in need of abortions. so i guess i'm somewhere the in the middle, maybe leaning a centimeter towards the left, but not by much.
nevertheless, i understand why a person would identify as a conservative, though i'm not fond of those who try to force their social/economic/political ideas on me when i make it clear i'm not willing to listen.
Is it normal to be a Conservative?
