  • qgi ever think heroin is not addictive or wont become addicted to its is reeally really naive and blind or just in denial if they themself are a user.. but on the same note yes there can be occasional users and there are. but if those occasional user start using more and more frequently without a doubt they will first become physicallly dependant then physically and mentally addicted.. i was an occasional herion user for few years and it never became a problem, never went into withdrawl or felt i needed it and had to use more frequently, but after i was in a bad car accident being pretty much PIT monuvered by some guy on the express way at 70 mph causing me to crash into the divider and then bounce back across all the lanes into a ditch and this asshole sped off onto the first exist and never got caught.. i had pain issues and got prescribed 30mg oxycodone 180 a month which is 6 a day.. after a few months i became physically dependant but i wasnt abusing them and never took more then my prescribed dose.. after a lot of physical therapy i did a 5 day detox with suboxone and sucesfully got off the oxys but i have many friends who had no pain problems taking oxys and heroin, few of which died of overdoses, and it was never just the heroin or oxy alone it was always a combination with xanax or other benzo or downer.. most active heroin addicts dont die from a straight heroin overdose, dont get me wrong some do but most are b.c of a combination of drug or especially the heroin out here on long island thats cut with large amounts of fentynal.. so my point is yes there can be and are occasional users but its a very easy line to cross and become addicted if you give in just a little to use one more time a month which becomes two more times etc until its few times a day and iv seen it happen to people i grew up with first hand
