Once upon a time, I had more willpower than anyone I knew. I was a very high achiever. But the drug destroys all that. It destroys the very things that you think are immutable about yourself. It corrodes your spirit and turns it into a metaphorical demon. You're forced to become a liar and people treat you like scum, which makes you constantly defensive and indignant, i.e. a pain to be around. It's awful. Please stop now.
