    But it could become so, or even worse than AIDS if not contained quickly and a vaccine developed. It seems to pass on infection in the same way an the ordinary cold does, so obviously someone with the disease could infect far more people than something like AIDS, and that was bad enough.

      Well all the anti-vax people like mammalover will keep it alive even if we do get a vaccine. People are too stupid nowadays to even comply with vaccination protocols.

      It's the flu. The flu can be deadly to already unhealthy or at risk people. Kids and elderly. 

      These days the media make each strain the next end of the world, apocolypse, outbreak to get ratings, but it is still the flu. 

      Just like AIDS, the bird flu, swine flu, HIV, nora, now Corona. All flu's. 

      The Jim Beam flu is next. It's all fucking bullshit. 

      People with weak immune systems die from flus and that is all this is.

        So AIDS and HIV were strains of the flu? Really? I'd love to see some evidence for that assertion.
