I'm a Asexual. Is this normal?
No it is not. However I would think these type of people would be smarter. Since instead of figuring out who to screw every other minute or (How to find true love) or how to make those boobs look extra perky for the club scene. They would be preoccupied with things beside ass and tits! Hooray for sex. Man kinds biggest down fall.
Meh, I would have to disagree. I don't view intelligence and sex drive to be on the area. As men are more sexually driven than women, this would suggest that more women would be the smartest, and so on, when it's shown that the smartest of people tend to be males that are not asexual.
I don't think sex makes anyone less intelligent than the other. Sure there may different priorities, but I doubt not having those priorities makes someone smarter than those that do, they just have more time to focus their attention on other things. There are more ways for positive feelings than sex, and if they are not occupied on sex as one priority, a less productive priority might fill that space, such as media or video games, etc. If anything, it is more of a downfall to be asexual, as you do not possess that nature need to reproduce, which without it humanity wouldn't of existed this long, or there will be very few humans to come to this level of progression we have attained now.
Also, being asexual does not mean you do not love, it just means you are not sexually active, so looking for the 'right one' would still be something Asexuals would do.
So basically, sure they may have different priorities, but that does not mean they are smarter, if you get what I mean.
I don't believe it is a downfall at all. Without it, I doubt we would of ever come this far, as explained above.
My sister is Asexual, and she's very normal. She just doesn't feel sexually attracted to other people. Nothing wrong with it as long as she's happy that is all that matters.
An* and yes. Any kind of sexual orientation - even a lack of one - is normal.
Most that believe they are don't actually tend to be asexual. It's possible, though.
Uncommon, but perfectly normal. Sexuality can't really be defined by "normal" vs "not normal".
It's perfectly normal, but if anyone tries to tell you it's not normal tell them to tell it to others who are Asexual.
Though, it's not normal by society's standards that doesn't make invalid or wrong. It just isn't widely talked about or studied, so I think most people don't know what to make of it.
You know, sometimes i wish i was. You should count yourself lucky. Or not, it depends, i don't know what it's like.
it's not normal but it's not a bad thing as long as it doesn't affect you or people you know.
I dunno that it's normal, in that most people are not asexual, but there's nothing wrong with it.
This is normal, although sort of rare.
But you're not alone. I'm asexual too. And I support you (:
are you saying you can reproduce like godzilla (without a mate) (play the puff daddy godzilla video NOW)
I don't know anyone like that irl, but there are a ton of asexuals on IIN, judging by the stories and polls.
Does Asexual exclude or include Masturbation? If it includes it it's called Onanism.
