Is it normal to be a 19 year old virgin girl?

During high school I was really shy and as a result never dated, so I've had a bit of a late start.
During my first year of college, at 18, I had multiple relationships and became more experienced in a way that felt comfortable to me. But I had a bad experience with my last boyfriend that pretty much ran for the hills upon finding out I am still a virgin and it's made me extremely self conscious. I never really considered it a big deal, I thought I'd go with the flow and when the timing was right and I felt comfortable with the person it would happen. I've given and received oral sex but just have not been with someone yet to where I feel comfortable moving on to the next level.
I feel kind of like a freak. I would really appreciate some feedback on this. Thanks so much!

If you're worth it to the guy he'll wait. If not he's a loser and you're better off without him. Take your time it's on us to make you feel comfortable. We respect no is no.

Don't worry about this at all. Your last boyfriend was a jerk. Lots of guys will love and appreciate you more for being a virgin. When you find the right guy he will consider your feelings and not make you do anything you don't want to. And once you two get more comfortable with each other the physical stuff will come naturally. Obviously many people think sex is important in a relationship, but it can't be the main thing that holds two people together. Having an emotional connection and being able to relate to each other will always come first.

Yes actually that's awesome! I lost mine when I was 15 :/ it wasn't great and the guy was 25 again :/ I really wish I waited for someone who meant something to me. Because like they say, you never forget your first.

Ha. Thats crazy because I'm an 19 yrs old girl and still a virgin. I'm just not looking for boys . I'm just focusing on my education. Maybe one day i will find love. i don't have a love life. I'm proud to be a virgin. I'm comfortable with it. I don't plan on having sex either. I'm just a different kind of girl. so don't feel bad . The same over here..

Wait until your ready first off otherwise it just causes problems later such as depression umm and I think it's kinda hot being a virgin just means sex would be a magic amazing passionate time plus if he really wants you it shouldn't run him off because loseing your virginity to a guy means you'll love him the most of any guy so yeah take your time :)

Its completely normal, I was a virgin throughout high school for the same reason always being shy and I just didn't know what to do in a relationship, I was a virgin till a couple years back its nothing to be ashamed of. If you ever want a friend to chat with I will try to be here :)

Here's how I look at it, if I find out the girl I'm into is a virgin I'll talk to her about it and if she is animent about it staying that way, then I usually won't waste my time. Not that all I'm looking for is sex, but it's a very important factor in a healthy relationship in my opinion. And girls that are virgins dont have the experience to know how to or be comfortable pleasing a man or acting sensual or sexy. It's more of an awkward game than a carnal desire. Im sure you're a wonderful girl with a great personality and a lot of endearing qualities, but to a lot of men, especially ones in their sexual prime, the "no sex" thing is a deal breaker.

I have no idea why you got down-voted. I´d not want to be with someone without sex involved either.
