Is it normal to be a 26 y/o woman who hides away to watch cartoons?

I'm a 26 year old woman, I sell cars for a living. I work around people all day, and when I get home, I find that I have lost interest in social activities. I feel very akward around groups of people. I didn't used to be this way. I used to be thin, out going, and lots of fun. Now I'm fat, anti-social and I hide away watching South Park or Horror movies. I'm not sure if this anti-social behavior is because of my job, or my weight, or a combination of factors. I feel like I'm wasting my life.

  • Cartoons are Art. No need to hide away, just watch them and appreciate it for what it is.

  • You won't be so for long. This I know because you mentioned this and you see it. If you trust in yourself you will be happy.

  • Sounds like a premature midlife crisis... or perhaps that you need one. If this is making you feel like you're not living, gradually making changes in your life targeting specific areas you want to change.

  • You need a life change now, before it is way to late! Good luck with your choices!

  • Perhaps you should find a job that doesn't suck the life out of you and turn you agoraphobic. Life is too short to work at a job that destroys your health, no matter what the pay is.
