Is it normal to be 19 with graying hair

I'm 19 I have long black hair but have seen a few stray hair lately that are completely white! I hear this can happen when you're under lots of stress, or getting older. I was under the impression a lot older, though. I'm currently in the process of moving houses, but it's only a stress that I've just recently started to feel

Is it normal for this to be happening?

Yeah. I have a friend who's 25 and he has gray hairs and has had them for years. It's not that unusual. It can happen due to stress but also just genetics.

Yeah at about any age you can get a few grays. It is nothing to be alarmed about so early in life. Those few grays will regain their color and maybe other strands will temporarily lose color.

Usually when you are truly going gray (after 40) you notice serious patterns of them like at the temples, side burns, around the hairline.

Yea I started going grey at 19, ever since then it had gradually got more grey but you can only really tell if you are close and under bright light. I can handle grey, no probs, I just don't want to go bald, well not until I'm at least 60.

Some people go prematurely gray. As for stress, and hair turning white there's an interesting story online about a man who survived the sinking of the Titanic, and a few months later all of his hair turned white. I think I have significantly more white hair now two years after having left my ex-boyfriend than I did before I met him, but I was only with him about a year, a half.

My cousin is in her 20s and already has noticeably graying hair. Also there was a kid in my high school who was balding. Some people just start hair loss way earlier.

All of my siblings had grey hair by the time they were 20. It's nothing to worry about.

Yup so don't take too much the stress or don't think too much about whatever u did. when I was 11 years old my hair's color turning grey. Now I'm in 22 my friends continuously called me "GrandPa". But proud of yourself because we've natural hair. Sometimes when you travel on a local bus some aunty and beautiful girl used to call me "uncle" from my backside. I mentioned "aunty". that time... Ahhhhh.

Ask your parents when they started greying. Its not that rare. Around 23 I got my first grey hair. Now Im 29 and I still only have a few. My wife like to point them out everytime she notices one 😒

Hum that weird. Usually people losing their hair early have higher levels of testosterone and so more hair on their body.

Some people have grey hair form an early age, if its genetic factor, nothing you can do to help. It can also be due to everyday stress and stuffs, so try relaxing more.

I had a few gray hairs when I was in school. They went away. Fast forward 20 years, still only a few gray hairs.

But check with parents and grandparents for when/if they went gray.

Not normal, if your pubes are also greying as well it might be hereditary, if it's just your head hair it might be stress, try smoke a bit of weed to chill out.

Just for your information, pubic hair goes grey MUCH later than head hair, or at least it did in my case.
