I wouldn't say they feel...intimidated, unless what I'm about to explain comes under intimidated. It seems to me that you're a very non shy away from things type of person, which is a good way to be, but alot of guys might be overthinking scenarios in which they ask you out, and since you're very upforward they see themselves being told no when they ask you to be with them in a relationship.
I'm nineteen, pretty attractive in my opinion, I haven't been in a proper relationship, never properly kissed a female, nor have I actually asked anyone to be in a relationship. I hink there are quite alot of people out in the world and even on this site that probably are going through the same thing, some see it as something they must overcome, while others don't care much for it, they might have to deal with it later on in life. Don't feel as if it's something tragic, it just means that you're a late bloomer to this type of thing, just like many others.
