Unfortunately in my opinion it is normal for couples in long-term relationships. In fact, it sucks but this happens all the time. I've heard this story from other people. I have been with someone for several years and we only have sex once a month - and usually only if I initiate it. And the sex has gotten boring and repetitive for both of us. I can totally see why people have affairs. Although I haven't had one, I think about it all the time. So your situation is normal if undesired. I hope this helps!
