I always feel super-uncomftorable calling someone by their names until I do it a few hundred times.
I recently started physical therapy for my knee and and it took me about 15 sessions before I stopped using "hey, you!" to get the therapist's attention, even though I knew his name and it was a simple and common name. I'm about 30 sessions in and I still try to avoid calling his name when possible.
is it normal to avoid saying peoples names?
