All I can say is the only thing to do best is to actually pursue some goals. That's all there is to it. I am in the same position as you are and in the same way I think of myself when I surely want to be in a relationship because of my status. I am unemployed but hell, I have to deal with it and move on by looking for another job. Crying or nagging about it won't change anything, even thinking or sitting around. I've started to stand up and put my embarassment aside because what I think is best is to get up and get yourself sources outside. Its either look for an opportunity or continue dwelling in the comfort zone for the rest of your life until you die. Sounds harsh but its a fact.
