Marriage is an institution. What I am talking about is monogamy. Having one partner on the long run makes people more satisfied and balanced. And that environment is healthy for children as opposed to their parents going around looking for sex all the time.

Surely that depends on the partner? It's not a healthy environment for children if one or both adults are miserable
