We were together 6 years. It ended with me cheating on her and then ghosting her. She messaged me once after she found out but not again so I figured she must have not really cared anyway.

Well now I'm thinking about things and I remember in 2014 I gave her $600 to fix her car. She said she would pay me back at the time but I didn't care about it because we were a couple but now I really want it back because it's bothering me. I ghosted her 6 months ago and am still with the girl I cheated on her with but I can barely sleep at night thinking about the $600. I don't even need the money because I earn 50k a year but it's haunting me.

Is it normal to send her a message even though the circumstances? I'd just send a text like hey hope you're okay anyway remember the time in 2014 I lent you 600? Can I have that back.

    I would not ask her. You cheated on her and now you want $600 back that you loaned her four years ago? At the time you two were an item and possibly leading to marriage or a long term relationship so the money was a non-issue.
