it's fine to ask but it may make him feel uneasy as he could wonder then after if you will just go ahead and do it anyways . It could cause otherwise normal scenarios with you around females to look suspicious or if you sleep at a girls house . I also would say .. fair is fair so if you are asking .. you may want to offer including him ? some may challenge that statement but if you get to try another partner , so should he .. just probably healthier to do it together . I save these experiences that are outside the relationship "norm" to most for lovers though not full on dating scenarios so that I can leave the confusion out and enjoy monogamy . I do enjoy multiple women though ( consensual ) I wouldn't cheat and I can be completely content with one .
