I think it shouldn't really matter whether you have a job or not when you ask. If she wants to marry you, she'll say yes. You can always have a long engagement until you've saved up enough money to pay for the wedding - there's no rush.
Or don't ask her until you can afford the wedding. It shouldn't matter if you are in a loving relationship with her. If she's the right one for you, you'll both still love each other for many years to come. Again - there's no rush.
Are you Indian by any chance? Mentioning castes and her parents 'seeking a boyfriend' for her makes me think of the culture of arranged marriage and caste system of India.

yeah you're right belongs to India. And I'll wait for until I become able to lift us
