Personally... that just makes me think of Sixteen Candles where that creepy kid played by Anthony Michael Hall has to get a pair of panties as a trophy to prove that he's a man.
I always thought that was weird. I especially disliked the part where all the boys lined up in the male restroom to get in a seal with Anthony to see and possibly molest Molly's panties.
