after about 1 - 5 months of talking to her?

I met this girl online and we really click, but I wanna get the timing right so I don't scare her away.

I'm planning on officially asking her hopefully no later than five months.

Is It Normal?

    Talk to her for a little longer, and video chat often (or talk on the phone).

    Long Distance Relationships (LDR) require a lot more patience, trust, and money to travel. Honestly, LDRs are more successful for adults who can visit their partners as much as they can. Most teenagers in LDRs are stuck with the feeling of "not being alone" until high school ends and college starts where they will make more friends and become attracted to someone physically there. Of course there are some teens can make it work, but it's a small amount.

    If you're willing to take the risk, and hope that you both can get a job soon to save up to visit each other, then go for it.

        When did interstate travel become impossible? There are buses, trains, planes and even automobiles that can and do travel between the states.
        How can you consider someone you've never even met a boy or girl friend? Kinda putting the cart before the horse, don't you think?
